- The KAEGE RETRO® CLASSIC is equipped with a completely overhauled engine from the 993 – and thus with the best air-cooled production technology ever built in the Swabian region. Finely disassembled, inspected, finely balanced and reassembled, the unit appears extremely refined, smooth-running and stable. Through careful fine-tuning, we have been able to increase the output from 3.6 liters of displacement with 286 hp (standard) to 3.8 liters of displacement with 300 hp. Classic 911 feeling. Thanks to the installed hydro tappets, the RETRO requires very little maintenance – and thanks to its OBD capability, it can be easily handled by any Porsche workshop.
